The Vermont State Hockey Association remains firmly committed to the American Development Model guideline that all participants play within their age classification and most particularly at the 8U level. However, VSAHA recognizes an association may be subject to special circumstances resulting from no disregard on its part that render the enforcement of that guideline unreasonable in certain situations. Players wishing to "play up" in an older age classification should review the policy and complete this request form.
A transfer is required for any player that was registered with another association in the previous season and registering with a different association in the current season. Players wishing to transfer should review this policy and complete the request form.
Established in 1997, the Jonathan Levin Scholarship Fund celebrates the all too brief life of a caring and dedicated teacher, committed to the welfare of children and to equal opportunities for both learning and recreation. The fund provides scholarship to eligible children for recreation fees. Scholarships are awarded based upon financial need. Children must be pre-school to eighth grade to receive full or partial scholarship. Careful consideration will be given to all applications. Click this link for more information and to apply.
